In the Living Room, was our first attempt at a longer engagement project. It was produced alongside River and culminated in an event which featured River, an original dance, some local ballet folklorico and a panel discussion which included representatives from the the Leammle and Serrano project, City economic development and Commissioner Rassmussen. We spent about 10 weeks setting up a ”living” room and inviting community members to join us in conversations about art and community.
